Gaukhar Chekembayeva is Assistant Professor in the Department of International Management.
Being the owner of several merit-based scholarships, she holds an MBA degree in Marketing from KIMEP University, an MSc in Tourism Management from Budapest Business School, and a PhD in Business and Socioeconomic Sciences from Modul University Vienna.
Before joining Modul University Vienna, Gaukhar worked in the multinational FMCG sector as a media planner and brand manager.
Her research interests are in the area of consumer behavior and immersive technologies and her research was published in reputable marketing journals, such as Journal of the Retailing and Consumer Services and Journal of Services Marketing.
Gaukhar acts as a liaison officer for outgoing exchange students to La Rochelle University and the University of Southern Denmark.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
